Gardena Supermarket has been a fixture on Gardena Blvd for over 30 years. In 2019, it was acquired by SK Market and became their fifth location in Los Angeles County. SK Market is a family owned business that prioritizes the communities they serve. When the COVID-19 pandemic initially broke out in Gardena, they were the first supermarket to adjust their operations to prioritize seniors. They offered special shopping hours for seniors only to ensure they had an opportunity to obtain essential needs safely.

Gardena Supermarket has also adapted over the years to meet the everchanging needs of our community. They now carry specialty goods from Latin America and embrace healthy food trends. Customers can also pick up precooked chickens and, in the near future, will be able to choose from a wide selection of fresh salads, fruit dishes, and appetizers.

Since Gardena Supermarket opened its doors, it has always given our residents that comfortable, hometown feeling. Butchers and cashier clerks often know their customers by name. Did you know? Gardena Supermarket offers free money orders for whoever needs them. They don’t charge any sort of transaction fee!
